​Who Is That Foot Guy?

Dr. Steven J. Lieberson was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Regents College – State University of New York, and is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is authorized by the Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners to supervise Hyperbaric Oxygen in the treatment of the foot and ankle.

​He is a past member of the Operating Room Committee, Surgery Review Team, and past Chairman of the Board of the Downtown Houston PHO. Dr. Lieberson is also an active member the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Asociation (APMA), Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA), and Harris County Podiatric Medical Society where he has served as a past President.

​Dr. Lieberson relocated to Houston in 1998 after completing his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals – University Medical Center in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lieberson currently sees patients at our Sugar Land location.​

​Dr. Lieberson is the former Academic Chief of the Podiatry Section at St. Joseph Medical Center, where he directed the three-year residency program in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
